Whether you are an enthusiast, student, or researcher, we make it easier to access hard-to-find information about the Middle Ages. This includes exhibitions, collections, databases, and publications. Currently, we focus primarily on the Netherlands, but hope to expand this in the future.

Many Dutch museums possess magnificent collections of medieval art. However, these are not often prominently displayed, leaving them unknown to many people. Additionally, valuable information about these collections is sometimes difficult to find because it is scattered across multiple databases and websites. Therefore, our platform collects and structures information about the Middle Ages.

Because the site is maintained by volunteers, we may sometimes overlook information. We would therefore greatly appreciate it if you send us an email if you notice anything missing from the website. You can find our contact information below.
